Kingstonian 1-1 Dulwich Hamlet

Kingstonian 1-1 Dulwich Hamlet

Dulwich secured a hard earned point but were pegged back by a free kick from Tommy Kavanagh, who spent a short spell with The Hamlet.

It was a game of two distinct halves as Dulwich were in the ascendancy in the opening half whilst K's were the dominant force after the break.

Home keeper was called into action in the 6th minute as he had to keep out an Ashley Carew free kick awarded after Laurent Hamici had been unceremoniously dragged down as he threatened the home goal.

The home side were creating little but when winger Chris Henry had a good chance, he hit his effort weakly wide.

Whilst The Hamlet were generally in control, chances were hard to come by. Nyren Clunis had an effort that went wide. Good work from the influential Ashley Carew & Kevin James gave Dean McDonald a sight of goal but he was denied by a good block.

This was the prelude to the opening goal as from the resulting corner, Laurent Hamici had his header blocked at point blank range by Laurent Hamici but captain Terrell Forbes drove home the rebound.

Half Time 0-1

Kingstonian made two changes at the interval and were dominant without really creating any clear chances until they drew level just past the hour. Ethan Pinnock was adjudged to have committed a foul on t he edge of the box and Kavanagh clipped the ball over the wall and inside the near post.

Chris Henry went close with a chip and blazed wildly high and wide when we'll placed and, at the other end, substitute Abdul Mansaray turned his marker inside out before delivering a poor cross.

Another substitute, Xavier Vidal, tried his luck from distance but Tolfrey was equal to it.

The best chance of a winner saw another ex Hamlet man, Nathaniel Pinney head wide after Marlon Patterson.had given possession away cheaply.

Kevin James headed wide when well placed and Ethan Pinnock couldn't test Tolfrey with virtually the l last action. Of the Match
