MATCH PREVIEW | Cray Valley (PM) vs Dulwich Hamlet | 06/04/25
As we enter the final month of the season the Hamlet head to take on Cray Valley (PM) at the Arctic Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Cray are the 3rd promotion chasing side the Hamlet have taken on in 3 weeks after defeats to Dover Athletic and Dartford.
The Hamlet were boosted by the return of Anthony Jeffrey against Dartford last weekend. The winger has spent the last couple of months sidelined with a hamstring injury but is now back for the run in.
Last weekend Dartford visited Champion Hill and headed back to north Kent with all 3 points in front of 3334. Luke Wanadio hit the woodwork early on in a positive start for the Hamlet. However, Dartford would run away with the tie taking the lead through Hayden Bullas after 23 minutes before Callum Jones bagged a brace following goals in the 38th and 51st minute.
Cray Valley find themselves 4 points inside the play-off positions having taken their first season at step 3 by storm. Last weekend they defeated Wingate & Finchley 2-0. They last suffered defeat at the Arctic Stadium at the beginning of January when Hashtag United defeated them 5-1. Since that defeat they've secured 3 wins and 3 draws at home.
In the fixture between these 2 sides earlier this season Cray secured a 4-2 win. Luke Wanadio scored an early goal for the Hamlet before Cray took a 3-1 win. Jerome Binnom-Williams buried a free-kick just before half-time to send the sides in with the score 3-2. As the Hamlet chased an equaliser Cray Valley secured victory and returned home with a 4-2 win.
SQUAD NEWS:
Max Hudson has returned to training and could return against Bognor Regis Town next Saturday. Ryley Scott went off with cramp and should feature on Saturday. Ralfi Hand and Ross Marshall are unlikely to feature again this season. As announced earlier this week Kreshnic Krasniqi has had his season ended following a knee injury against Dover Athletic. Hassan Ibrahiym has also left Champion Hill and we wish him all the best for the rest of his career.
