MATCH PREVIEW | Folkestone Invicta vs Dulwich Hamlet | 18/10/25

We're heading to the South coast on Saturday afternoon to take on Folkestone Invicta at the Alcaline Stadium.

Mark Dacey's side picked up a point last time out against Cray Wanderers extending a run of 5 games without a win. The Hamlet's last victory came against Welling United on the 6th of September.

A brace from Anthony Cook and a first Hamlet goal from Amadou Kassarate saw the Hamlet pick up 3 points against the struggling wings.

Nyren Clunis scored his 1st goal back at Champion Hill last weekend before his former side Cray Wanderers levelled the game just before half-time.

It's a busy 6 weeks for Dacey's side with 6 Tuesday night games coming up 5 of which at Champion Hill. Combined with Saturday trips to Chichester City and Burgess Hill Town. The Hamlet will also welcome St Albans City and Hashtag United to Champion Hill on Saturday 8th November and Saturday 22nd November.

Despite a difficult run of form recently the Hamlet still find themselves sitting pretty in 5th. A blistering start to the season saw the Hamlet win 4 and conceded 0 in their opening 4 matches.

They'll be fully aware that a return to winning ways will be key to the long-term season success.

Folkestone Invicta come into this one with a spring in their step. It's their first game back at the Alcaline Stadium following the installation of a 3G pitch at their home ground.

Over the course of the season they've played home games at Margate and Chatham Town and return to their home ground 3rd in the table.

Last weekend they exited the Emirates FA Cup following a defeat to Southend United at Roots Hall. This is their 1st league fixture since the 20th September. They defeated Burgess Hill Town 3-2. The hosts biggest threat on Saturday afternoon will be Joe Pigott. The striker most notable made over 100 appearances for AFC Wimbledon scoring 47 goals and will be Invicta's main attacking threat on Saturday afternoon.

SQUAD NEWS:

The Hamlet will have an almost fully fit contingent heading to the Kent coast, Jordan Wynter has trained all week and could feature for the 1st time this league season on Saturday afternoon.

The only player who hasn't trained is winger Gaspar Mico, he is still recovering from a fractured jaw and operation following a collision with Luke Wanadio at training a few weeks ago.
