You can now vote for your men's Player of the Month for December.

What a brilliant month December proved to be for Paul Barnes and his troops, as the side ended the month unbeaten with two wins and two draws from their four games, which included a first National League South point against Oxford City and a win against playoff contenders Chelmsford City.

In between the posts was Charlie Grainger, who was able to collect his second clean sheet of the league campaign in the Weymouth win, and was unfortunate not to have kept another this month, with Chelmsford's Tom Blackwell netting in the fifth minute of injury time against him. Charlie produced top quality saves throughout the month as well. Sanchez Ming was also an ever-present at right back, using all his experience to thwart opposition attacks down the right whilst also playing a crucial role going forwards, producing the cross for the first goal in the Chelmsford win and then setting up Dan Smith for the second in the Weymouth victory, a move that he had started.

Quade Taylor has had to be patient to get minutes under Paul Barnes but played every minute in December in the heart of the defence, consistently using his tackling abilities to halt the opposition, as well as earning that clean sheet against Weymouth. Only the crossbar denied him a goal during the month too, and it was a duo of assists for him in the draw at Oxford. Finally, Jayden Clarke has been in scintillating form, with a match winning brace against Chelmsford and an assist versus Weymouth among the highlights. His direct approach, running at defences and bamboozling them with his trickery, has been key to the side's form in recent weeks.
