Hamlet assign squad numbers for the first time in club's history.

With the new season just around the corner now, we are delighted to announce that for the first time in the club's history, the men's side have allocated squad numbers to the squad.

In the battle of the goalkeepers, Charlie Grainger has been given the number one jersey ahead of summer signing Joe Osaghae.

Top scorer for the last three years Danny Mills has been given the number nine, whilst the number seven may not be seen on the field for a while due to the ACL injury sustained by Kalvin Kalala during pre-season. The popular number 10 shirt will be worn by former Hampton & Richmond midfielder Sam Deadfield.

Despite taking more of a backseat from the playing side of things this season, Michael Timlin has also grabbed a number for the new season, wearing the number 22 with his former number four being taken by new arrival James Comley.
