Mixed bag of results for the Dulwich Hamlet Juniors
In a slightly weather hit programme on Sunday the various Dulwich Hamlet Junior Football Club sides braved the cold & rain
Our UNDER SEVENS, in the Yellow competition, didn't manage to get a win, losing a narrow game against Danson Blue by the odd goal in three; before going better in the second encounter, holding the same opponents to a scoreless draw.
The UNDER EIGHTS in their SELKENT League West division hit no less than four goals, away to Beacons, but sadly for them, the home side scored six.
A win & defeat for our UNDER TENS in their Vase tournament. We started off with a 1-0 win against Phoenix Jaguars, but failed to score in the second game of the day, losing 3-0 versus Titan Tigers Black.
Both the UNDER ELEVENS & the UNDER TWELVES were due to be away to Athenlay, but the two matches were called off.
Fortune failed to smile on our UNDER THIRTEENS, who made the journey to the distant edges of the South London borders. A three nil reverse was suffered at Footscray Black, in their C Division.
But there was a cracking result for our UNDER FIFTEENS in the B Division. Junior Red Valiants came to the Kent County Grounds, but left with a comprehensive defeat, as our boys put them to the sword, thanks to a 6-2 scoreline.
