Nelson comes on board

Every man and woman and child (possibly even the Dulwich Dogs and Ged the Giraffe) expects as Margate's Nelson heads for the Hamlet.

New Dulwich signing Mitchell Nelson, who hails from faraway Camberwell, will be hoping to put behind him the agonies of a season past that ended almost before it had started. Stretchered off with a knee injury in Margate's opening friendly at home to AFC Wimbledon, Nelson found himself in dry dock for the whole campaign, sidelined with a ACL injury.

Earlier today (Thursday) the right back, who began his career at Tooting and Mitcham but swiftly moved on to better things with the likes of Lincoln City and Bournemouth became the first of Gavin Rose's summer signing as he put pen to paper on a deal at Champion Hill.
