Plan your trip | Cheshunt | Theobalds Lane

The Hamlet men are back on the road this weekend and heading to Theobalds Lane to take on Cheshunt. Here is everything you need to know!

STADIUM ADDRESS:

Cheshunt FC, Theobalds Lane, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, EN8 8RU

Travelling by car?

From the M25 motorway exit at Junction 25 taking the A10 (Great Cambridge Road) north following signs for Hertford. At the first roundabout take the third exit following signs for Cheshunt/Waltham Cross A121 (Winston Churchill Way). At the next roundabout take the first exit following signs for Cheshunt B176 (High Street). Continue under the Railway Bridge and turn left at the next mini roundabout into Theobalds Lane. Cheshunt Stadium is 800 yards on the right hand side. The ground has a car park with spaces for 200+ vehicles.

Travelling by train?

Theobalds Grove Station is a five minute walk away on the corner of the High Street and Theobalds Lane and enjoys a half hourly service to & from Seven Sisters (Victoria Line) and Liverpool Street. Please note that Cheshunt Station is not the nearest station to the ground although train services from Liverpool Street are quicker, it is a thirty minute walk/ £10 taxi ride.

Please also be aware that trains to and from the match may be busier than usual due to a concert at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Please take extra care and allow for delays.

DOG POLICY:

Sadly Cheshunt has a strict no dog policy and only allows guide/assistance dogs inside the ground. Please do not bring your dogs to the stadium as they will be rejected entry.

PUBS WE RECOMMEND:

There are 2 pubs in the local area that we recommend, the Coach & Horses with a variety of food and drink options available. The pub closer to the station is our 2nd recommendation. The Wheatsheaf with a number of drink options available and is the recommended venue to watch live sport on TV.

MATCH CENTRE LIVE:

If you can't travel to Cheshunt on Saturday you can follow the game live on our Match Centre. We'll bring you live radio coverage and in game text updates from around 14:50 here.
