The Hamlet head to Hampton hoping to make it four games unbeaten when they take on the Beavers at the Beveree Stadium this weekend.
Last weekend's narrow 1-0 victory over a resurgent Braintree Town side marked a three game unbeaten streak for Gavin Rose's men, with just one loss in their previous five fixtures. That came after the Hamlet had recorded just one win in their prior nine matches, and so Darren McQueen's exquisite first-half strike provided yet another timely three points in the playoff push to go with the victories over Slough and Welling in recent weeks.
The Beavers come into Saturday's fixture in some rather torrid form, with just a pair of wins in ten games seeing them slip firmly out of the playoff picture and into mid table. Their poor form stretches back even further, when just like Dulwich in the proceeding round, Hampton were dispatched of by Plymouth Parkway in the FA Trophy. Since that defeat the Beavers have only managed to muster a poultry 8 points from a possible forty two on offer. Gary McCann's side will be hoping to build on a spirited 1-1 draw against playoff hopefuls Chippenham Town, when Ruaridh Donaldson rescued a late point for Hampton and rule out Harrison Minturn's first half strike for the Bluebirds.
There was an early Halloween treat for those at Champion Hill for the reverse fixture back in October, when the Hamlet eventually came out on top in a seven-goal thriller thanks to some Jack Holland heroics. The Dulwich skipper bagged an 89th minute winner in a game where the visitors had quickly turned around an early Danny Mills goal, before Mills managed to grab his second. Hampton then retook the lead shortly after halftime, until two goals from defenders secured the three points with the Beavers going down to ten late on. The Hamlet's last visit to the Beveree Stadium proved a fruitful one, when again, that man Mills was on hand to score a brace after the hosts saw received yet another red card in this fixture with Dean Inman seeing red in the first half. Jake Gray did manage to convert a mere consolation in a 2-1 Dulwich victory; and Rose's side will be hoping for a similar outcome this weekend to help keep their current playoff spot secure for yet another game week.
