The Hamlet welcome the Hawks to Champion Hill this weekend, aiming to bounce back from the Beavers blunder last time out.

Despite taking the lead inside the opening two minutes via a Jordan Green spot kick, the Hamlet saw their early advantage overturned by a struggling Hampton side to drop some valuable points in the playoff push. Zach Robinson cancelled out Green's composed penalty to take the teams level going into the break, however any chance of a Dulwich victory were given a huge blow when Quade Taylor received a red just 10 minutes into the second half for an adjudged handling of the ball in the box. Robert James cooly dispatched dispatched from twelve yards to end a resurgent Hamlet side who had hoped to make it four unbeaten.

Gavin Rose's side have since slipped down into the last remaining playoff spot after a midweek point for St Alban's against third place Oxford City. The Saints have now leapfrogged the Hamlet into sixth and still have a game in hand on the South East London outfit. Rose's men can't really afford any more slip-ups with the race for playoffs really hotting up, and with the visit of a revived Havant & Waterlooville side this weekend, the Hamlet can expect a stern test of their playoff credentials.

The Hawks were liable to just watching their season peter out with a run of four straight defeats, and a winless run stretching back a further five matches, instigating a cascade down the standings into mid table. However, Havant have picked up seven points from a possible nine in their last three outings, including an impressive 4-2 triumph over fifth place Ebbsfleet. The recently revived Hawks are still within the playoff mix with Paul Doswell's side just seven points adrift; and a win at the Hill would be both as damming on Dulwich's playoff chances as it would be helpful for Havant's, as it would close the gap between the pair to just four points. However, they will have to do it without the influential presence of Aldershot loanee Alfy Whittingham, with the Shots recently recalling the young midfielder after what had been a prosperous short stay down on the south coats.

Back in early December the Hamlet came away with a point from Westleigh Park all in spite of taking the lead twice during the match. Danny Mills opened the scoring for the visitors just past the ten minute mark, but Abdulai Baggie struck back for Havant. Green then finally ended the Hamlet's early season penalty hoodoo after Dulwich had missed all of their previous five spot kicks. Though Baggie's second just before the interval ensured the points would be shared under the lights with Dulwich having to hold on towards the end after a late Chike Kandi red card. The Hamlet last hosted Havant at Champion Hill back in January 2020, when three goals in the last fifteen minutes gifted the visitors all three points even though Mills had given the hosts the lead.
