Manager's Player of the Season commits to another year at The Hamlet

Midfielder Lily Price has committed to signing on for another season at Champion Hill.

The 20-year-old joined the Hamlet last summer from Crystal Palace, reuniting with her former coach from Palace, our assistant manager Jamie Broughton.

Whilst initially recovering from a broken leg, sustained at Champion Hill playing for Palace against the Hamlet, Lily eventually made her debut as a substitute in our 1-1 draw with New London Lionesses in September.

Lily would then go on to play in all but one of the remaining 27 games of the season, starting 25 of them, playing a pivotal role in midfield.

Long-range goals were also a feature of her game, with a memorable brace against Winchester City Flyers in the FA Cup helping us to reach Round 1 for the first time. Further strikes against Bexhill United, Enfield Town and Ebbsfleet United were all scored from outside the penalty area during the season.

Lily's performances also saw her collect the Manager's Player of the Season award from Ryan Dempsey.
