Purple kit raffle a great success
The tickets were drawn on Saturday for the last of the unique kit worn earlier this season in an International Women's Day celebration
The lucky kit, which our players donned in the thrashing of Merstham last month, was silent auctioned off for the official IWD charities. Combined with collections on the day & the proceeds of the 50/50 ticket sales around £2,000 was raised for their good causes.
The remainder of the kit was raffled off over the last three home matches, organised by the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Trust, with every penny from this being split being handed over to help pay for our free-to-see Dulwich Hamlet-TV service; & the Inter City 125 campaign, which is trying to raise enough money to take The Hamlet to Hamburg, for a pre-season training camp to Germany in July 2018, which will include a special celebratory game against our good friends from Altona 93.
The final figure isn't yet in, but we believe over five hundred pounds has been raised, to be split between the two. A fine effort, and thank you to all who took part, for your generosity.
