RAMSGATE 0- 3 DULWICH HAMLET
Dulwich eased past Ramsgate every bit as comfortably as the score suggests.
First half goals from Ellis Green and Erhun Oztumer followed by a second half strike from Daniel Carr settled a game in which Phil Wilson in the Dulwich goal was a spectator for long periods.
Despite their dominance it took 31 minutes to take the lead. Prior to the goal Daniel Carr was denied twice, first when the keeper rushed from this area to block and then when his tremendous volley from 25 yards struck the far post. However, the first goal came when Ellis Green was set free on the left and he cut in and rifled his shot under the Ramsgate keeper. It took only another three minutes for the lead to be doubled as Efhun Oztumer exquisitely chipped the keeper from the edge of the box.
The second half opened more evenly but in the 56th minute it was game over. A Ramsgate corner was cleared to Ervin Oztumer near half way. He turned his marker and played the ball to Nyren Clunis who advanced on goal before slipping the ball to Daniel Carr who rolled the ball wide of the keeper and into the net.
That was the extent of the scoring as The Hamlet took the opportunity to sit back and see out the game although in stoppage time Nyren links should have added a fourth as he blazed over when clean through.
