Splatt Joins Tanners For Rest Of Season
Jamie joins Leatherhead on loan deal to get vital minutes.
Midfielder Jamie Splatt has signed for Isthmian League South Central Division side Leatherhead for the remainder of the season.
He made his debut for the Tanners off the bench at the weekend, impressing after coming on as an early substitute in a 1-1 draw at Westfield, a game which saw former Hamlet captain Kenny Beaney sent off for Hayden Bird's side.
Jamie had made seven appearances for the Hamlet this season, including starting in four of Paul Barnes' first six games in charge of the club, before a foot injury ruled him out of contention from mid-October until the end of November.
Upon his return, he was loaned out to Step 4 Faversham Town for December, but with the winter weather wreaking havoc, he was restricted to just one appearance for the Lilywhites, playing the first half in a 3-0 loss to Ashford United on Boxing Day. He was also an unused substitute in their 1-0 defeat to Hythe Town on January 2nd.
Splatt also links up with Alpha Diallo at Fetcham Grove, who is on a dual-registration deal from the Hamlet, and another former face in Omarr Lawson.
Best of luck Splatty, we will see you soon!
