Stars in their eyes

Two Dulwich Hamlet fans will 'stars' this afternoon, playing in the current Hamlet team against the 'Blast from the Past' former boys...

The match, kicking off at two o'clock, has been organised as part of a special benefit day for the local youth motivational project Besty's Inspirational Guidance' , which is run by one of our former players, Lionel Best.
He, in fact, scoring the winning goal in the first ever match at our current stadium, back on the 3rd of October 1992!

Following an email auction two fans have successfully bid to play in the game this afternoon...and the two who have donated the most, to have their 'moment of glory' are SHAUN DOOLEY & PATRICK LUDDEN.

We thank them both for teir generousity & hope they have a great afternoon, as well as few well deserved pints recovering in the bar afterwards!
