Support the local Refugee Appeal!
Following on from the marvellous collections that we held at Champion Hill through our Supporters Trust earlier this season, there's more you can do..
The Southwark Refugee Project is holding a collection for refugees at the Copeland Gallery at 133 Copeland Road, Peckham SE15 3SN (just behind the Bussey building) tomorrow (Friday 27 November) between 10am and 7pm and Saturday 28 November 10am to 5pm.
The Refugee Crisis is nor something that will go away, and not just a cause to be backed while it's topical and in the news.
If you didn't manage to donate to our Champion Hill appeal that was the brainchild of our Supporters Trust, supported by Dulwich Hamlet Football Club, then this is a great chance to go through your cupboards and donate and unwanted goods that are still cluttering up your homes then please make an effort to find the time and pop down to Peckham, either tomorrow or before you head to Champion Hill on Saturday afternoon for our FAT Trophy clash with National League South outfit Margate.
Please donate warm or waterproof clothing, sturdy shoes, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, travel bags, candles and other lighting implements, pots, pans and toiletries. And feel free to mention Dulwich Hamlet, or if you're shy just be wearing your Pink & Blue...it's always nice to let others know that we're all part of the same caring community.
We did mention the work put in by our Supporters Trust...some of their members have been across the Channel to visit the camps twice now, and the scenes they've seen have been a mix of both shocking & totally heartwarming.
