Sutton United 2-0 Dulwich Hamlet
Two second half goals from Dylan Kearney gave Sutton United a comfortable victory.
For the Dulwich squad visit here.
The Hamlet got another useful workout ahead of the new season but were ultimately second best over the 90 minutes.
However, whilst the home side certainly did more of the pressing, there were few chances created by either side.
In the first half, both teams were neat in possession Sutton's two best chances both came about after Quade Taylor misjudged the flight of long balls forward. However, Charlie Grainger was untroubled in the Hamlet net.
In the home goal, Butler was forced to save a Jeffrey Monakana free kick from a tight angle and Ade Yusuff could have done better with his effort that flew wide..
That all changed in the opening minute of the second half when Dylan Kearney was left in space to score, after the Dulwich defence failed to clear their lines.
The second goal arrived ion the 68th minute as Kearney was allowed to move forward unchallenged. His shot was well struck but Charlie Grainger will be disappointed that it went under his body.
Dulwich only forced one second half ave from Butler in the home goal, tipping aside a well struck shot from Nyren Clunis.
