Sweet Sixteen!

The Youth Team went goal crazy yesterday by smashing poor old Long Lane...

The final score, as the old ticker at the bottom of your telly screen in the 'olden days' before the internet, was Dulwich Hamlet 16 (sixteen) Long Lane 0, to record the biggest win by any team in the Kent Youth League North Division this season!

Despite our bottom-of-the-table visitors being totally overwhelmed credit must be given to them for battling gamely on, with a final scoreline that won't make the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters Team feel so bad..

As 'The Rabblers', from our terraces lost to their counterparts from Hampton & Richmond Borough, at Belair Park on Saturday morning 'only' fourteen nil!

The Long Lane match was a simply wave after wave of Hamlet attack, sporadically breaking down, as Long Lane attempted a few of their own.

Once again I am indebted to Junior Kadi for letting me know the list of goalscorers, for there is no way I was able to keep up from the touchline!

Leading the way with FOUR goals each were Derecce Thompson & Kameiko Pope-Campbell; while there were doubles from Robbie Bin-Luboya, Ricardo Soyeye & Jamie Mascoll. The other players to hit the back of the net for The Hamlet were Louis Adams and Tarik Ibrahim.

Next week we travel to play Erith & Belvedere, but first on Wednesday afternoon, 2.00pm at Rutland Walk, we host Cray Wanderers in the football Conference Youth Alliance.
