SWITCH OF VENUES AND DATES FOR CRYSTAL PALACE U23 DEVELOPMENT SQUAD FIXTURES

With four games remaining in the Professional Development League, the young Eagles will be playing two of them at Champion Hill.

In order to fulfil their quota of games played at Selhurst Park, the Eaglets’ home match against Sheffield United on Monday 3rd April has been moved to Crystal Palace’s home turf in SE25. This has proved rather convenient for the Hamlet with Gavin Rose’s men due to take Leatherhead in a Ryman League fixture on the Tuesday then face the Terrors of Tooting in the London Senior Cup quarterfinal 48 hours later.

However, there will still be two games for the Palace youngsters at Champion Hill, first of which sees the Eagles take on Queen’s Park Rangers on Monday 10th April with a 1.00 pm start. The next “home” game at Champion Hill will take place on Monday 24th April with Colchester United's U23 side the opposition, kicking off at 1.00pm.

The young Eagles final game of the season, at home to Bristol City, has been pushed back 24 hours and will now take place at Selhurst Park on Tuesday, May 2, kicking off at 1pm. Dulwich Hamlet interest could come in the shape of former ASPIRE Academy graduate Shawn McCoulsky who has been earning rave reviews from the Robins’ management whilst banging in the goals on loan at Weston-Super-Mare and Bath City where he has gained the perhaps unoriginal soubriquet of “McGoalsky”!
