Talk of the Town!
The Hamlet youngsters defeated their Thamesmead counterparts yesterday to secure three more points.
In a match switched from our regular Rutland Walk home venue our Youth Team, under the wing of the ASPIRE Academy, won by the odd goal in three at the ground of our opponents, Thamesmead Town Greens.
Goals from Dereece Thompson & Tre Zialor secured the 'home' victory for The Hamlet.
This leaves The Hamlet in fifth spot, only one place behind Thamesmead, but we have two or three games in hand on all of the teams above us.
The next game in the Football Conference Youth Alliance Kent/SE London division is scheduled for Wednesday 25th February, away to Bromley Whites.
Before that, this coming Sunday we are away, at 11.00am to Greenwich Borough, at Samule Montagu Youth Club, Broad Walk, Kidbrooke. This promises to be a cracking game, as they are tucked behind our boys in second spot, with games in hand.
