Pound for pound we can confirm what we already know... Dulwich Hamlet supporters are among the most generous there are!

Just over a week ago The Hamlet hosted VCD Athletic, which was our Pre- Non League Day event, as we were actually away on Saturday.

An amazing 1,961 fans came through the turnstiles on the day paying whatever they chose to.

The two chosen beneficiaries, after the usual matchday costs of a home match had been deducted, were our official charity partner for the 2015/16 season COOLTAN ARTS; who are based down the Walworth Road, and work in the mental health field. The other was a national organisation, the BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION, who do so much work to combat and raise awareness of heart disease, which has affected so many of our fans, past and present.

This included £214 raised through the match day 50/50 Draw, and donated to the cause; as well as an additional £326 thrown into the collection buckets at the final whistle.

Once, again thank you all for your willingness to dig so deep into your pockets.

The success of the day would not have been possible without the agreement of our owners, the Hadley Property Group.
