The Lions roar into Champion Hill tonight!
Our local Football League neighbours, are on on the prowl away from their Den TONIGHT to take on The Hamlet at Champion Hill,7.45pm kick off.
Football League Championship side Millwall are due to send a strong squad to face our Championship winning side from last season, as The Hamlet hope for a hat-trick of victories over professional elevens, following our wins over both Dagenham & Redbridge and Huddersfield Town, in recent weeks. In tonights clash is as entertaining as those you are sure to be in for a cracker!
Tonight will be a perfect opportunity to see who is knocking on the door of Steve Lomas, the new Millwall manager's First Team door, with the game being the last chance for someone to impress him before they start their Championship campaign against former Isthmian Leaguers Yeovil Town on Saturday.
The Hamlet, under Gavin Rose, will be looking to fine tune our First Team squad, with our own big kick-off less than two weeks away, on Saturday 10th August, at home to Premier Division highfliers Lowestoft Town.
The bar will be open before, during and after the match tonight, with tea bars in the cround for snacks, so why not head to the ground staight from work; or head home to pick up the family, for a chance to get up close to both The Hamlet & Millwall players, in that special non-league way, which simply isn't possible at professional grounds.
