Tomorrow night is FA Youth Cup night!
Why not ignore the European games on the box & cheer on the Hamlet stars of tommorrow, as our Youth Team attempt to have another good run!
Molesey are our visitors in the first qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup,as we hope to reach the competition proper eventually, & play host to another Football League or Premiership side for the fourth consecutive season!
Our eventual conquerors in the last three campaigns, all at Champion Hill, have been Norwich City (on penalties); Oxford United & Newcastle United.
Though we are a long way from that stage. If we are successful tomorrow night there are two more qualifying rounds to battle through first; with the victors of our match in about 24 hours time being at home to either Erith Town or Corinthian, in the next round.
Last season we met Molesey at the same stage of the competition, albeit at their Walton Road ground, in Surrey. That night we comfortably ran out 4-0 winners, with two goals apiece from Shelton Frimpong & Xavier Vidal.
Hamlet Pitchero managed to ask Junior Kadi about the tie tomorrow:
"I'm looking forward to the game,we just try to treat it as another game. Although we played them last season we don't know a lot about them. Despite our previous runs there's no pressure on us. Year by year, by the nature of our team being age related, it changes. For us it's just about the boys development."
Please note Dulwich Hamlet season tickets are NOT valid for this game, as FA Cup games are ALL PAY at the gate.
Admission is only £3 for adults, concessions £1.
