This was a game high on endeavour but generally lacking that final piece of quality, not helped by a very difficult playing surface.
With both sides considerably stronger than for Tuesday's game, Dulwich reverted to the line up that had demolished Merstham in their last hone game.
The early exchanges saw Tonbridge pressing forward but the Dulwich defence dealt comfortably with any threats, as they and the Tonbridge defence would do on an afternoon when both keepers were largely untroubled.
That's not to say the game wasn't an intriguing contest in which Dulwich seemed to have the upper hand but couldn't find the final ball.
Home keeper Henly had to rush out in the 6th minute to hack away a long ball from Sanchez Ming, as Dipo Akinyemi looked to get on the end of it. The home team then had, literally, a slice of luck when a Nathan Green shot was sliced over his own bar by Sonny Miles.
Dipo Akinyemi came close to giving Dulwich a 27th minute lead as he rose above Henly in the home goal to meet a Nathan Green cross, but his header struck the crossbar.
Henly fumbled a cross but he recovered, whilst a deft chip from Gavin Tomlin narrowly cleared the bar with Henly back-pedalling. He also had to push over an Ashley Carew effort at the end of a half in which Preston Edwards in the Dulwich goal was untroubled.
Half Time 0-0
Tonbridge opened the second half on topm but despite some good work from Wheeler on the left they were reliant on set plays to get the ball into the Dulwich box, and even then lacked the accuracy of delivery usually associated with a Tonbridge side. When a good cross did arrive, Akrofi put his effort too high,
For Dulwich, Dipo Akinyemi may think he should have done better when firing into the side netting and the referee failed to spot Gavin Tomlin having the shirt pulled off his back when a Nathan Green cross fell to him.
Sanchez Ming snatched at an effort after Henly could only punch weakly under pressure from Michael Chambers, whilst Preston Edwards made his one real save of the afternoon when he held a flicked header by Elder from a Wheeler cross; other than that he had only claimed a couple of crosses and made an easy stop from a long distance effort by Phipp.
Dumebi Dumaka was harshly adjudged to have fouled Nelson as he raced away from him on the right when it seemed the foul was the other way.
In stoppagr time Matt Drage produced a final clearance as Elder looked to get on the end of a Blewden cross but both sides had to settle for a point apiece,
