Under 18s bow out of Kent Youth League Cup

The ASPIRE Academy coached Youth team were beaten 2-1 away to Faversham Town yesterday morning.

An early start on Sunday morning saw a youthful Under 18s side containing a number of first year scholars narrowly beaten by Faversham Town in the second round of the Under 18 KitToFit Challenge Cup. A frenetic start to the game and plenty of goalmouth action but no goals until the hosts broke through on the 20 minute mark through Zac Argent. It remained that way until 13 minutes from time when Faversham Town doubled their lead but Dulwich Hamlet quickly responded when substitute Jordan Traille rounded the home 'keeper to bring the Hamlet back within touching distance of their hosts. However try as they might Dulwich were unable to find a leveller in the time remaining. Faversham now face a home tie against either West Wickham or local neighbours Faversham Strike Force.
