What the papers were saying
Here's the printed press round-up once more, from the last seven days
Last Sunday the 'Non League Paper' reported on our win at Dorking Wanderers:
Dulwich Hamlet sealed this victory in Surrey with Ricky Hayles' second-minute header from a corner.
Both teams like to play attacking football.
But the visitors had the upper hand for most of the first half, having had the benefit of that brilliant start.
Wanderers keeper Harry Palmer was called upon several times, making saves from Sanchez Ming and Nyren Clunis, as Hamlet sought to add to their early lead.
And the hosts made some forays into the visitors' box and latterly in the first half and Tom Tolfrey came very close to an equaliser.
A tussle after half an hour resulted in three yellow cards and it became a highly contested game thereafter.
Wanderers steadied the ship with a marked improvement in the second half performance with
Chances fell to Tolfrey and Giuseppe Sole as the rain made the playing surface slippery and mistakes were made. But they were unable to take them.
Wanderers best chance fell to Dan Pearse on 72 minutes following good work from Gareth Chendik but he blasted the ball over the bar.
And despite considerable late pressure from Wanderers, Dulwich held firm to secure the three points.

Our goalscorer in that game claimed the headlines in the small non-league column in Teusday's 'South London Press':
Hayles scores Hamlet winnerRickie Hayles opened his goal account for Dulwich Hamlet as they won 1-0 at Dorking wanderers on Saturday.
The result moved Gavin Rose's side up to ninth in the Bostik League Premier Division-and only a point off the play-off places.
On Thursday the 'Southwark News' concentrated on the charity game, that is being held at Champion Hill this afternoon:
Hamlet to help Sierra Leone disaster victimsDulwich Hamlet are hosting a charity football game this Sunday in aid of the victims of the Freetown mudslide in Sierra Leone last month.
The club has close connections with the country through management, players and ex-players.
Hamlet's Ibrahim Karbo was born in Freetown and has captained his national side. "It's very sad, it's close to the area where I live," Kargbo said. "It's very difficult for people back home and the children who are homeless right now."
Hamlet coach Tamba Ngongou added: "All of us were devastated about what happened. We are trying to raise awareness and help the people of Sierra Leone."
The game wil kick off at 4pm at Champion Hill. Entry is £5 and gates will be open from 1pm.
Meanwhile, at the weekend, Gavin Rose's side won 1-0 at Dorking after Rickie Hayles' first goal for the club.
*On Tuesday, Hamlet were beaten in dramatic fashion at home against Hendon, who had Dave Diedhiou sent off in added-time before Joshua Walker snatched a winner for a 1-0 win at Champion Hill.
And, finally, to Friday's weekend 'South London Press', a mercifully small piece on the Hendon loss:
Hamlet stunned by late goalDulwich Hamlet lost 1-0 to Hendon on Tuesday night- a stoppage-time goal seeing the visitors head away with all three points after just one shot on target.
Muhammadu Faal tucked away a Dumebi Dumaka pass just before the break but was flagged offside. And the beanpole youngster was denied by the Hendon keeper after the rstart.
Dave Diedhou was sent off for a second bookable offence in the closing stages but that did not prevent the visitors inflicting a second Bostik League Premier division defeat on Hamlet as Joshua Walker curled beyond Preston Edwards.
In the same issue of the 'South London Press', in the main news stories section our charity game, which takes place this afternoon, was also featured:
Football match to raise cash for Sierra LeoneDulwich Hamlet are holding a Support Sierra Leone fundraiser on Sunday.
Money raised at Champion Hill will go towards aiding the victims of the Freetown mudslides and floods.
Hundreds of people lost their lives in the disaster in August.
Hamlet have close connections with th country through their management along with former and current players.
Midfielder Ibrahim Kargbo has captained Sierra Leone.
A Hamlet XI will play a Sierra Leone XI at 4pm. But there will also be music and cultural activities.
Entry is £5 and the event runs from 1pm to 8pm.
Kargo said: "It's really sad. People are saying it is 400 people who died, but it is more than 1,000. It is also close to the area where I live. It is very difficult for people back home. It has been a very big disaster and this is the only way we can help our people. I know a lot of people want to help but it is not easy being in Europe. The only way to do it is to organise a friendly game."
