Wood stays in National League South with move to Welling United

Left-back Will Wood has left Dulwich and has signed for National League South side Welling United for the 2023-24 season.

Wood joined the Hamlet last summer from Ebbsfleet United, where he had spent two seasons, and departs having made 34 appearances.

He also scored three times last season, all coming away from home. The first was a thunderbolt of a drive in our 3-0 win at Cheshunt last September, before he netted in what would be our final away win of the season at Welling in January. Wood's final goal was a late consolation in our 3-2 loss at Braintree Town on Valentine's Day.

The former Southampton trainee becomes Warren Feeney's first summer signing at Park View Road.
