
YOUTH TEAM WEEKEND ROUND UP
Goals galore as Dulwich Hamlet ASPIRE Academy youngsters return to Kent Youth League action after the Christmas break.
It was a return to winning ways for the Under 18s in Kent Youth League North as they emerged victorious from a trip to Glebe. Narrowly beaten in their last outing before the festive break, the Under 18s posted a 3-1 on Sunday thanks to a brace from Lekan Osideko, complemented by another from Hassan Bangura. The result nudged them ahead of Phoenix Sports in second spot on goal difference but Bromley A still set the pace after a 5-2 win away to Welling United. Dulwich Hamlet have the chance to move top this weekend when they entertain Meridian VP at Rutland Walk as Bromley A are without a game. The match kicks off at 11 am at Rutland Walk in Catford.
Meanwhile the Under 16s took their unbeaten run to six games but only just as they shared six goals with Sporting Club Thamesmead to stretch their lead over Greenwich Borough in the North Division to four points. They are without a fixture this weekend and return to Kent Youth League action on Sunday 22nd January when they travel to the Old Wilsonians ground in Hayes, Kent to take Fisher Youth. That game kicks off at 2 p.m.
