Youth Teamers take down Lilywhites in Alliance
Goals from Kladji Cani and Ade Batula made sure of victory as Dulwich moved up the table with a 2-0 win at Bromley.
It was a good afternoon at the office, so to speak, for our ASPIRE Academy coached Youth Team.
Following on from his hat trick at the weekend Kladji Cani was again on target as he opened the scoring in this Football Conference Youth Alliance fixture. The result was confirmed when Ade Batula added a second, the 2-0 for the Aspire Academy coached Dulwich Hamlet Under 18s allowing them to close the gap on their Bromley rivals to just a point.
With leaders Crystal Palace FA going down to a single goal defeat at home to Dartford Reds and Charlton Athletic Trust hammering Millwall (Lions) 5-0, the top of the table is starting to get very congessed. Just a single win covers Crystal Palace in top spot on 18 points from 8 games back to Dulwich Hamlet in fifth spot on 15 points, though, due in the main to FA Youth Cup commitments, the Aspire Academy lads have played a number of games fewer than all of those clubs above them.
The Under 18s's next scheduled fixture in the Youth Alliance is next Wednesday 2nd December when they take on Charlton Athletic Trust at Charlton's Training Ground, Sparrows Lane, New Eltham SE9 2JR. Kickoff for that game will be 2pm.
