MATCH PREVIEW | AFC Sudbury vs Dulwich Hamlet | FAWNL | 23/11/25

The Hamlet women return to FAWNL action on Sunday afternoon with a trip to Suffolk to take on AFC Sudbury.

Last time out in the FAWNL the Hamlet defeated Milton Keynes Dons at Champion Hill a goal from Kendra Brown was the difference as the Hamlet picked up 3 valuable points.

AFC Sudbury are still in search of their 1st league win of the season and will be looking to get that on Sunday as they try to move out of the relegation zone.

Their only point came against bottom of the table Chesham United back in August and will be looking to kickstart their season as we head into December.

Last time out in the FAWNL they fell to defeat against table toppers Fulham at Motspur Park. Despite scoring 2 they fell to a 4-2 loss.

A win on Sunday could move Sudbury out of the relegation zone if results go their way elsewhere. Meanwhile a win for Maria Tavares and her side will potentially move into 8th and further away from the drop.

Sudbury however, do have a number of games in hand on those around them and will look to pick up as many points as possible if they are to save themselves from relegation to the 5th tier.

SQUAD NEWS:

Rhea Gall returned to training on Thursday night but she is more likely to return to action in December once she has had a number of training sessions under her belt.

Jodie Lodge could return to action after recovering from her groin injury she sustained at the beginning of November. Her minutes will be relatively limited if she does return on Sunday.

Liz O'Callaghan was on track for a return at around this time after the hamstring injury she got against Fulham but away from football she's suffered a slight knock to the ankle and will be back hopefully this side of Christmas.

Neve Mayes is looking more likely to return after the winter break but could feature against Luton Town before Christmas she sustained a calf injury in our FA Cup tie at Swindon Town.

Gwyn West has suffered her 2nd quad injury of the season and looks to be out for 2 to 3 weeks.
