Our women's side return to the FAWNL South East Division this Sunday and face a trip to AFC Sudbury. Here is how to plan your trip.

By train: 

There is no direct train service to Sudbury this weekend, planned engineering works means rail replacement services from Newbury Park to Ingatestone are in operation. From Ingatestone you can get the train to Marks Tey before changing to a service to Sudbury. 

If travelling by car there is a large car park available at the MEL Group Stadium. 

PUBS WE RECOMMEND: 

Sudbury might be the best awayday of the season for pre match pints with over 10 pubs in and around the town centre! 

Most are a 30 minute walk or so from the stadium

Here are our top recommendations: 

1. The Gainsborough Arms, with a large drink selection and food offering the Gainsborough Arms is open from 11am. 
2. The Brewery Tap Sudbury serves a number of locally sourced drinks and is a 35 minute walk from the stadium.
3. The Secret Garden is a shorter walk finding itself only 25 minutes walk from the stadium

Concession - £5.00 (over the age 65 or in full time education)
Under 16's - £1

ARE DOGS ALLOWED? 

Yes! Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead. Dogs however, are not allowed inside the clubhouse. 

FOOD OPTIONS:

AFC Sudbury offer a relatively straight forward food menu with chips burgers and other basic football food options.
