A good work out against a competitive Aveley side was settled by two Erhun Oztumer goals.

A low key first half with chances at a premium ended with a fine fun from Jerome Walker being ended by a foul challenge in the box that resulted in Erhun Oztumer emphatically converting the resultant penalty high to the keeper's right.

The second half was a one sided affair as The Hamlet moved the ball much better and it was no surprise when a fine pass in the box found Erhun Oztumer who turned and curled home his second of the afternoon.

Olu Lapite nearly added a third as his thunderous drive struck the post and Erhun just failed to chip the keeper as he followed up but there were no further goals.

Paul Idem had a quiet afternoon in goal having only one header on target to deal with.
