PREVIEW | Chatham Town vs Dulwich Hamlet
We're on the road for the final time in 2024 tonight as we take on Chatham Town for the 2nd time this season. This time however it's a place in the Isthmian League Cup semi-finals up for grabs.
It's the 4th time a Hamlet side has visited the Bauvill Stadium this calendar year. The 3 previous visits have resulted in 2 losses for the men and a loss for the women.
When we visited Kent in the league we suffered a 2-0 defeat on a wet night under the lights. It was a difficult November for the Hamlet with only 1 victory whilst suffering defeats to the likes of AFC Sudbury and Real Bedford.
Chatham are currently in 3rd in the FAWNL South East division with 23 points. The Hamlet find themselves in 8th with a respectable 16 points from 11 games.
Saskia Reeves-Priestley remains out injured and is looking to return to action in 2024. Summer Roberts is in a similar situation and it's unlikely we'll see her on the pitch until the latter stages of the season.
The Hamlet reached the semi-finals of this competition last season where they fell to defeat against eventual winners Billericay Town.
The winner of this tie will face Dartford or Ashford United in the semi-finals of the competition with those sides meeting next Wednesday at Princes Park.
