Norwich City clash postponed
Our FAWNL clash with Norwich City on Sunday 8th December has been postponed. This is due to the canaries progressing to the 3rd round of the 24/25 Adobe Women's FA Cup. This fixture will be played in 2025 and we'll announce a new date when we have it.
The Hamlet now have 2 competitive fixtures left in 2024. First we visit Chatham on Wednesday 4th December in the Isthmian League Cup. On Sunday 15th December we finish a historic 2024 at Champion Hill as we host London Seaward. You can get your tickets for that game here.

Directions if driving:
Come off the M1 at Junction 13 onto the A421, continue on the A421 Bedford bypass, and take the 3rd slip road for the A603 Sandy; the ground is 200 yards on the left. Signposted Meadow Lane, look for the Real Bedford logo and signs on entry into Meadow Lane.

Can I bring flags?
There isn't a flag policy but please be aware of where you are hanging your flags to reduce the fire risk.

PREVIEW | Real Bedford vs Dulwich Hamlet
The Hamlet head to take on Real Bedford this Sunday aiming to return to winning ways.
The Hamlet head to Bedfordshire on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to AFC Sudbury at Champion Hill.
741 spectators saw the Hamlet head into the break 2-0 down before Lily Price fired us back into the game from the penalty spot just after half time.
The Hamlet continued to push for an equaliser but were denied a penalty in the final minutes sending Sudbury back to Suffolk with all 3 points.
That result means the Hamlet remain in 8th position 5 points behind this weekends opponents. Real Bedford despatched London Seaward with ease last weekend returning from east London with 3 points following a 7-1 victory.
They're yet to lose in the FAWNL after achieving promotion to the division last season.
Their last defeat came in the FA Cup when they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Cambridge United in October.
Summer Roberts and Saskia Reeves Priestley remain out injured and will be looking to return to action in the new year.

Date set for Isthmian Women's Cup
A date has been set for our Isthmian Women's Cup Quarter-Final. We'll visit fellow step 3 side Chatham Town on Wednesday the 4th December.
These 2 sides have already met this season in the FAWNL with Chatham coming out the victors on a rainy evening.
The Hamlet return to SE22 on Sunday 24th November when we host Chesham United and tickets are available here.
PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs AFC Sudbury | FAWNL
The Hamlet women return to Champion Hill on Sunday afternoon as we return to AFC Sudbury in the FAWNL.
The Hamlet suffered FA Cup heartbreak last weekend as they exited the 24/25 FA Cup following a penalty shoot out defeat to former Championship side Lewes.
Phoebe Leitch fired the Hamlet ahead in the 2nd half with a beautiful long range shot before Lewes would level 10 minutes from time. Dulwich would suffer defeat on penalties and crash out of the 24/25 Adobe Women's FA Cup.
Before that the Hamlet secured a point at 'Loftus Road' following a 0-0 draw with Queens Park Rangers. The last time the Hamlet played at the Hill in the FAWNL they ended Actonians unbeaten start to the season with a comfortable 2-0 win.
AFC Sudbury travel down to London just a point behind Dulwich with a game in hand. AFC Sudbury defeated Bowers & Pitsea in the FA Cup last weekend and set up an away trip to Step 3 side Lewes for a place in the 3rd round. In their last league outing the defeated Ashford Town (Middlesex) 5-4 with the score just 1-1 at half time.
This is the first run of league fixtures the Hamlet have had since the beginning of the season where they had 4 Sundays in a row of league action. After this Sunday we head to Real Bedford before hosting Chesham United on the 24th of November.
It's our Remembrance Day fixture which means will be holding a period of silence prior to kick-off. Captains of both sides will lay a wreath at the edge of the centre circle before the Last Post will be played on the tannoy marking the start of the period of silence.
