PROFILE

Danny Mills
A 6’4” striker in his 6th season at Champion Hill. Born in Croydon, he began his career as a youth at Croydon FC, where he caught the eye of Crawley Town who recruited him for their own youth team. After just a handful of first team appearances, he was sold for a fee to Peterborough United.
A 3-year professional career consisted largely of loan spells at a variety of non-league clubs in the Midlands, before he returned to London to join Carshalton Athletic in 2012. After just a few months he moved on to Whitehawk, where he became a club legend with over 100 goals in 5 seasons, including a hat-trick against the Hamlet in a September 2015 FA Cup tie. A couple of seasons at Ebbsfleet United included loan spells with Dartford and Welling United, before he joined Hamlet in summer 2019.
An accomplished basketball player as a youth, he retains the ability to “hang in the air” for high crosses and scores a large proportion of his goals with his head. He recently made his 200th appearance for the club, with more than 70 goals scored.
