Leila Emmerson signs for the Hamlet
We are delighted to announce that Leila Emmerson has signed for Dulwich!
Leila brings with her an impressive record of achievements across both youth and senior football. A product of Bedes School in East Sussex and Brighton Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College (BHASVIC), she played a pivotal role in helping Bedes secure its first ever U.K. National Championship—scoring a hat-trick in the final.
At club level, Leila developed through the Brighton & Hove Albion system and earned national recognition as a member of the ISFA U-16 National Team. She then continued her footballing journey in the United States, competing for four years in NCAA Division I at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she further refined her game at an elite level.
Upon returning to the U.K., Leila joined Saltdean, making an immediate impact with an outstanding return of 7 goals in 7 games. Now based in London, she makes the exciting move to Dulwich, where we look forward to seeing her talent, energy, and goal-scoring ability on full display.

MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Luton Town | FAWNL | 14/12/25
We return to Champion Hill looking to finish of 2025 with an important victory and move further away from the relegation zone as Luton Town visit South London.
The Hamlet almost got a share of the spoils in Norwich last weekend following a resillient defensive display. However, a last-minute penalty cost the side as Norwich scored to move top of the FAWNL South East division table.
This is the return fixture of our opening day of the season clash. Luton ran out 3-1 winners in their 1st match at step 4 but since then have struggled to hit form picking up 7 points since then.
Following the departure of Maria Tavares earlier this week Richie Byrne will lead the side at Champion Hill this weekend. A win for him and the side could see them leap frog Luton and move 7 points clear of the relegation zone heading into the Christmas break.
Our last victory came at Champion Hill on November 2nd as we defeated Milton Keynes Dons 1-0. The visitors this weekend last victory came at the end of October when they defeated Chesham United 4-1. They did also pick up a point since that result when they drew 2-2 with Queens Park Rangers.
If Erin Corrigan and Ceylon Hickman feature on Sunday they'll make their 100th appearances each for the club, following in the foot steps of Saskia Reeves Priestley, Rhea Gall and Lucy Monkman who all achieved the total earlier this season.
SQUAD NEWS:
Rhea Gall made her long-awaited and much needed return to action last Sunday as she completed 90 minutes against Norwich City. Neve Mayes is still out following the groin injury she sustained against Swindon Town in the FA Cup. Liz O'Callaghan and Ceylon Hickman have both returned to full contact training so could feature this weekend.

Plan your Sunday as we welcome Luton Town to the Hill
This Sunday we return to Champion Hill aiming to bounce back from our last-minute defeat to Norwich City.
A resilient Hamlet side almost returned from Norfolk with a share of the spoils only to be denied thanks to a last-minute penalty for the hosts.
It was a much-improved performance from those in pink & blue and they'll be looking for a similar performance this weekend against Luton Town.
It's the return fixture of our opening day of the season where we fell to a 3-1 defeat with the Hamlet looking for revenge this time around!
It's sure to be an enthralling afternoon of FAWNL football as the Hamlet look to end 2025 with victory.
