Meet new recruit Esme Johnson
You may have noticed the name Esme Johnson on our teamsheets in our recent fixtures.
The midfielder has signed with us here in South London on dual registration from Women's Super League side London City Lionesses.
Esme is the 3rd player from a WSL club to be sent to develop here at Champion Hill this season joining Kendra Brown and new signing Cruz Fuller-Fagan who are both dual registered with Tottenham Hotspur.
Before signing for the Hamlet Esme had featured for Millwall Lionesses and Billericay Town and will remain in South London here at Champion Hill for the rest of the 25/26 season.
Here is what Esme had to say: "I’ chose Dulwich Hamlet because the atmosphere is great, the energy around the squad, the professionalism of the coaches, and the supportive environment made it an easy decision. I already feel at home here. I’m buzzing for the rest of the season and can’t wait to give everything for this team and this football club!"
Everyone at Champion Hill would like to thank the team from London City Lionesses for trusting us to help develop Esme further.

Cruz Fuller Fagan joins from Tottenham Hotspur
We are delighted to announce the signing of Cruz Fuller Fagan on dual registration from Tottenham Hotspur.
Cruz is the 2nd player to join us from North London this season following in the foot steps of Kendra Brown who has started life in pink & blue with a number of important displays.
Cruz is a striker by trade but is comfortable featuring on either wing. She's already spent some of this season away from North London having played for Hashtag United in the FAWNL Southern Division.
Her versatility will be key as our women's team look to move further away from the relegation zone and into mid table.
Cruz has trained with the side all week and is available to feature against AFC Sudbury on Sunday afternoon if Maria Tavares and her management team feel that Cruz could make an impact.
Everyone at Dulwich Hamlet welcomes Cruz to South London and would like to thank the team at Tottenham Hotspur for trusting us to help further develop Kendra and Cruz.

MATCH PREVIEW | AFC Sudbury vs Dulwich Hamlet | FAWNL | 23/11/25
The Hamlet women return to FAWNL action on Sunday afternoon with a trip to Suffolk to take on AFC Sudbury.
Last time out in the FAWNL the Hamlet defeated Milton Keynes Dons at Champion Hill a goal from Kendra Brown was the difference as the Hamlet picked up 3 valuable points.
AFC Sudbury are still in search of their 1st league win of the season and will be looking to get that on Sunday as they try to move out of the relegation zone.
Their only point came against bottom of the table Chesham United back in August and will be looking to kickstart their season as we head into December.
Last time out in the FAWNL they fell to defeat against table toppers Fulham at Motspur Park. Despite scoring 2 they fell to a 4-2 loss.
A win on Sunday could move Sudbury out of the relegation zone if results go their way elsewhere. Meanwhile a win for Maria Tavares and her side will potentially move into 8th and further away from the drop.
Sudbury however, do have a number of games in hand on those around them and will look to pick up as many points as possible if they are to save themselves from relegation to the 5th tier.
SQUAD NEWS:
Rhea Gall returned to training on Thursday night but she is more likely to return to action in December once she has had a number of training sessions under her belt.
Jodie Lodge could return to action after recovering from her groin injury she sustained at the beginning of November. Her minutes will be relatively limited if she does return on Sunday.
Liz O'Callaghan was on track for a return at around this time after the hamstring injury she got against Fulham but away from football she's suffered a slight knock to the ankle and will be back hopefully this side of Christmas.
Neve Mayes is looking more likely to return after the winter break but could feature against Luton Town before Christmas she sustained a calf injury in our FA Cup tie at Swindon Town.
Gwyn West has suffered her 2nd quad injury of the season and looks to be out for 2 to 3 weeks.
